surviving the heat in Houston

Houston is in the dog days of summer right now. It is so hot the Weather Channel keeps sending me alerts! Stop, we already know its hot.

Somehow, in a tiny spot of land in front of our house, there is something that has survived this heat. So, I decided to document this survival week by week with my trusty camera phone.
